MY STORY
I'm Joanne, and nearly forty years ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease that primarily attacks the joints, but also damages other parts of the body. While we now have medications that can slow the disease's progress, I was diagnosed long before those drugs arrived and following many surgeries, I had my right hand surgically reconstructed a few years ago to maintain function.

Forced out of work by the illness, I began creating my own custom earrings. My desire was to create a quality earring that could be worn on pierced and non-pierced ears alike. After many months Crystal Climbers was finally created and soon became a hit. My climbers can be worn on any ear piercing, in addition to another earring and can be worn on non-pierced ears too!

I hand-make each pair myself using European quality precision tools; Argentium Sterling Silver wire (Nickel Free!) and Swarovski crystals.

How the Earrings are Made

I personally design and create by hand every single pair of Crystal Climbers using state of the art jewelry making tools. I use Argentium Sterling Silver which is not only NICKEL FREE and [Warranted Hypoallergenic] plus Argentium does not tarnish and turn black in the same manner as standard Sterling silver. For crystals, I use only Swarovski..

All payments are handled electronically via the web site. For earrings already in stock, I ship them in 1-2 business days. For custom earrings, I will provide an estimated ship date when we discuss the design.
